| - I will preface this review by saying that Juhl is by far the best place I have stayed in so far. I have lived at here for exactly 2 months at this point and couldn't be more happy with my stay. Yes, it is more expensive when you compare it to some other places in Downtown LV, Summerlin or Spring Valley, but you do get beautiful amenities, decent neighbors, clean & well-maintained modern building, concierge service and a peace of mind when it comes to safety and security.
Everyone at the leasing office is very helpful & friendly. Big shout-out to Sokha for going above and beyond in helping out the residents.
As I have mentioned, Juhl has a concierge service, so you can always ship packages to your home address and someone at the front desk will sign for it.
When it comes to neighbors, most residents are pretty nice and friendly. Hallways are usually very quiet. And I cannot hear my neighbors at all thanks to the thick concrete walls.
I live on the sixth floor so I get to enjoy a beautiful view from my window of the mountains during the day and the new City Hall at night. Spacious rooms and full-size floor to ceiling windows is one of my favorite parts of living at Juhl. But the #1 reason for moving to Juhl for me is the proximity to work - 15-minute walk or 2-minute drive in the morning.
When I used to live in North Las Vegas, it would take me a 10-15 min drive to buy some food. At Juhl, we have Le Pho (Vietnamese restaurant) and Greens & Proteins right downstairs which is super convenient when you are really hungry. And if you want more food options, Freemont Street is only a 10-12 minute walk.
When it comes to safety, I feel pretty safe walking around Juhl, 4th Street and Las Vegas Blvd. Occasionally you will run into some homeless people, but they are pretty harmless. If you walk towards the Downtown Las Vegas Premium Outlet Mall, past the bus terminal, it gets a bit sketchy at night so maybe I wouldn't walk there alone. Other than that, I feel safer living at Juhl than any other place in Las Vegas. After 10pm you can't even enter the building without the badge.
Hopefully this review was helpful. If you are considering moving to Juhl, give it a shot, I think you will enjoy it. I was so torn between living in Summerlin vs Spring Valley vs Downtown, but really glad I chose Downtown. No regrets at all.
