  • Our family decided to "adopt" a 10 month old German Shepherd/St. Bernard puppy from a family that decided they could no longer care for her. We quickly learned her owner had misled us on most of her behaviors. Although, it was apparent she was a sweet dog by nature she had many bad habits and behaviors. Taking her for walks was an extremely stressful experience. She would excessively pull on her leash and bark aggressively at dogs, people, cars, street lights, birds, etc. She's a big dog so attempting to hold her back during a bark fest was proving to be difficult. At home she would bark at the pool, birds, neighbors, any and all noises. Within a couple of weeks of failed attempts at offering treats, commands, choke chains, etc we had had enough and started searching for professional help. I came across All American K-9 on Yelp. Just reading the reviews was enough to convince me to give them a call and we set up our 4 week no-leash training with Pat. I was hesitant at first because of the up front cost before any training began, but I will just say it was worth every penny even after the FIRST session. We have a completely different dog. I nearly cried the first time we took her for a walk after that session. No pulling, no barking, no aggression whatsoever. She can sit, stay, heel and quit barking (quiet) on command. I was completely blown away after ONE session. She's obedient. I can walk her off leash and she will not leave my side. My kids can walk her and we rarely have to use the e-collar after just one month of her learning her commands. Pat was a phenomenal trainer. He was always on time. He explained why our dog was behaving the way she was and what to do to correct it. She was barking and acting out of fear rather then aggression. He was always available to us via text if we needed help during training and was always quick to respond. I cannot express how thankful we are for Pat! All American K-9 is worth every penny! We are thrilled with our results and highly recommend them for training!
