I could have easily gone with 2 stars on this but then 3 would be fair too. They definitely weren't perfect but I could think of a lot worse things that could have happened too. The movers were nice and reasonably professional. The estimate was roughly what was quoted up front. My complaint was that they said they'd be there Saturday AM; I had to call them to learn that it wouldn't be until Saturday evening around 6pm which eventually got pushed to 9:30 pm on Sat night. I'm not angry at this point since I knew they could only estimate the delivery time. Then they arrived, backed up the truck, door open and got a call from their boss who told them they had to close up the door and go find a weight station because they hadn't weighed the truck following their last delivery in SD!! So I'm exhausted and just want to go to bed but they have to drive off and find a weight station in the city of LA which wasn't easy because they took nearly 2 hours. They finally got back about 11:15 and they were done by 1:00!! Not cool. They did break a lamp shade (old anyway) but also broke a large picture. Luckily it was only the glass but it cost me $160 to replace. The manager said he wanted to do something for me because of my bad experience that evening but after I sent him the receipt he never responded. So in summary, I'm sure there's better out there but certainly could be worse. My frustration was management's poor decision in my view to close the door and not delivery my stuff because of their screw up in not weighing the truck after the last stop.
