  • The latest and greatest from Maximum Jay :-D I have to say as a female I feel a little uncomfortable going into some comic shops....enjoying comics tend to be a guy thing. Plus the lack of knowledge on my end makes some workers get a little pissy with me. Thats not the case here, or at any other of the Maximum comic locations. Every location I walked into has always been open, clean and very friendly :-) Not to mention the places always smell AWESOME!!!! Kinda a big deal to me :-) For people that like comics and go into the shops they are familiar with the usual comic book aroma that lurks inside ;-) The other plus to this location is its wide open layout that is not only female friendly but kid friendly :-) So much goodies I can purchase for my little girl and I never received that look from the employees, that oh my dear good don't let that kid touch a thing look :-P I can browse and really get a good look at all the wonderful goodies in the store. There is a room in the back I can see maybe be used for future gamers too :-) Thats not my thing but who knows maybe it will be...comics weren't my thing before ;-) So aside from the great service, wonderful store layout, design and scent...lets talk about what Maximum Jay does for his wonderful customers :-) Pretty much monthly he has free movie viewings at Rave Theater :-) Yup! He loves us sooo much he rents a theater for his customers to watch awesome movies like He-Man Master of the Universe (which was awesome!) This month it's The Nightmare before Christmas :-) He also does little things like this past election he gave away a free comic to anyone with a I voted sticker :-) Yup! I got myself a free walking dead one shot ;-) There is so much more he does and I feel like a tool for not listing them all but I just don't have that much free time on my hands ;-) You just gotta follow him on Facebook or Twitter to get a real look into the Awesomeness that is Maximum Jay...or just go and visit him :-) He is mainly at his newest baby store 3.0...It's in the northwest in the same shopping plaza as Walmart right on Tropical,It's located next to Gamestop. For some of you it maybe a trek but for me he is now in my stopin grounds :-D
