  • This place is amazing and welcoming! Being a white belt can be intimidating when walking into any gym for the first time, especially at Power where there is more purple belts and blue belts then white belts, what amazes me about this place is there's no ego's, nobody using seniority as a tactic to scare you, the older ranks are not there to intimidate you at Power they're here to help you learn and better you. from the high ranking students to the instructor Andre Maracaba and his assistant instructor Clayton Carpenter these are two coaches who truly care about their students and them advancing. On top of amazing instruction and motivation, the facility is clean, well kept and there's more than enough mat space and workout equipment for everybody. i was so hesitant to sign up here, being intimidated by the level of athletes that come here but just after two days of being here i feel welcomed like i've been coming for years. i recommend anyone trying to lose weight, get a great workout and have a great time doing it to go to Power MMA.
