With limited options in the Phoenix area for proper Persian food, I'm very pleased to have discovered this place! While it's a bit of a pain to get to if you don't frequent the area, I've been here a handful of times and have enjoyed my meals both in the restaurant and with the take out.
I normally order the chicken thigh kebab, which is well cooked, seasoned and prepared. Sometimes at Persian places I find the chicken is slightly undercooked, in an attempt to keep it juicy, but here I have never had that problem. I've never been disappointed when dining here with any of their offerings. I've sampled their hummus and other dips which are excellent as well. Their baklava is well made and not too sweet (way better than the strange dry baklava they serve at the Persian Room). The stews are also quite tasty so I'd say you can't really go wrong with whatever you order.
The atmosphere is more on the quiet side, and I've never seen it busy. They always have many tables open and are ready to serve you.
