  • I came to visit Toque after a friend suggested it and we weren't disappointed. Toque has a fun atmosphere and a really good menu. The food is reasonably priced (as is the wine list) and is really tasty. What's even better is that they're willing to modify menu selections if you are vegetarian! They serve alcohol as late as their liquor license will let them (2am, I think?). They have a patio out front which I should mention is unobstructed by large buildings which means more sun for longer than many on 17th. It's a decent size, with heaters as well so although Calgary might not be warm, you will be. Give it a try - the owner is friendly and obviously cares about his work, and the location is great!
