 | - DO NOT DO BUSINESS HERE!!!!!
On Tuesday 1/27/16 I inquired over the website about financing a vehicle. The salesman Tony called me back and we discussed a 2002 GMC Yukon for $5495. I explained I needed financing. He got me preapproved with the information I provided. I then made an appointment to see him on Friday 1/29/16 at noon. When I arrived on Friday, Tony was there and was glad to show me the vehicle. As it had been parked right up front, I had already walked around it before going into the office to find Tony and noted there were 3 - 4 small cracks in the windshield. I took the truck for a spin and decided I wanted to go ahead and purchase it as I felt it was an excellent deal at $5495. After spending 30 minutes or so filling out paperwork, Tony working on the financing deal, Tony asked for the downpayment. I told him I needed to see the final deal first, to see what I was dealing with. I was not about to give over money without seeing the full financed amount. Tony's expression became concerned as he turned his monitor to me. Once I saw the screen, I knew why. The vehicle's price became $13,999. I said there must have been a mistake, that couldn't be the price of the vehicle we had been discussing and had previously discussed. He said it was still the same vehicle, but that the $5495 was a "Wholesale cash price" and there's always a markup when financing. Umm...NOT $8000!!! I honestly don't remember if I cursed or not, but I pretty much told Tony to shove it. There was no way I was paying that price for a vehicle that was 14 years old, no matter how low the miles were. I told him he NEVER mentioned that the $5495 was a cash price. He tried to pull a bait and switch, hoping I'd give a payment before seeing what he was really charging me. I may be a girl, but I'm not stupid! These guys should not be in business. I've reported them to the BBB and will report them to whomever else I can find.
