Uno is one of those places that's always been there. They were with me from childhood through college, and temporarily forgotten. I recently remembered them via RITUAL. I rolled up like a VIP. (not like my college days scrounging around for cash)
I had the eggplant veal, the works. The toppings great. The bun typical. The sauce just right. If you order at the start of the lunch hour, when the veal and eggplant are just out of the fryer, pure perfection. As the lunch hour moves along, the breading gets softer and some of the things you want may sellout.
Prices have gone up over the years, but it's expected. 9.50 for my sandwich. I remember it being bigger and more filling. I finished the whole thing by myself quite easily.
Still a solid italian sandwich. I'm glad I remembered them.
