  • Came with hubby for my birthday and had a SPECTACULAR meal! I've been to Chima before a few years back and it was just as delicious as I remembered. Our server was attentive and checked on us frequently and it wasn't too busy in there, giving hubby free-range of the salad bar without interruption ( it was his first time). The salad bar was well stocked and the selections they had were very fresh- I specifically enjoyed the spring salad and the seafood salad (even though I HATE capers). I love, love, LOVE the lamb- I think I ate about 6 pieces of the rack of lamb as well as the slices of leg of lamb. It's just seasoned so perfectly, I really, honestly and truly couldn't help myself The salmon is cooked perfectly, but need just a little bit of salt. I suggest pairing it with the papaya sauce instead of the cilantro. It gives the salmon that sweet acidity that it needs to cut through the fattiness of the fish and creates a perfect balance of flavor in your mouth. We came on a night where the bottles of wine were half off ( I think it was a Monday) and we got a bottle of Rosé for only about $25 and it paired really well with the meal! They even brought out a complimentary tiramisu dessert for me for my birthday! They don't sing to you (THANK GOD) but it did come with a candle! All in all, the food was delicious and the service was good. We'll definitely be back again.
