I just recently had my first visit to Mongolian BBQ and it was a different buffet than what I was used. I came on a weekend so It was pretty packed and I had to wait quite a while to be seated but it was no big deal.
Once we were seated I discovered that you put all the food you want on a plate and select your sauce, my usual impulse would be go back to the table and eat but I discovered they have to cooked first. It's a pretty display to see all your food being cooked right in front of you.
The energy of the place was quite lively, the cooks all sang happy birthday to the customers who had a birthday that day and they even tried to get the customers to sing along which most of them did which was nice.
The food they have is pretty tasty, and I liked that they had iced margaritas. About the only small complaint I had was the selection was pretty limited.
Regardless I enjoyed myself and ate so much that the employees joked about my stomach being a bottomless pit. :)
