A nice little place. The owner was very friendly and helpful--he gave me a sample cookie while I was waiting for espresso. The espresso was ok, not out of this world, and was a little more expensive than some other places. A lot of the pastry items looked good, but all I tried was the almond croissant. It, too, was a little more expensive than some other local bakeries, but it was very good. The pastry was light and flaky and pretty much perfect. The filling was a little sweeter and less firm than I'm used to, but was good.
