| - This is where we regularly go to for groceries. Yes, it may be pricier than most but they do have items on sale from time to time and if you're a PC plus member you can collect points and redeem them later on. In the past, we have tried No Frills, Metro, and most recently Costco in an effort save, but we've always ended up coming back to Loblaws. We like how the lay-out here is spacious with high ceilings and good lighting. Parking is never a problem and they're open until very late at night. We like the variety of their products and I have learned that you could never go wrong with anything "PC". The only downside is the fresh produce section is quite limited and the quality of vegetables and fruits are not consistent. There was one time I got a bunch of Mandarin oranges, and when I got home I saw that 2 or 3 of them already had molds. At the hot food section, they have whole roast chicken, ribs, wings and sides for a decent dinner worth only about 10-15 dollars. If you come around 7-8 pm sometimes they're even reduced to half price! The staff here are friendly and efficient-- no matter how long the lines get at the cashiers, you won't have to wait too long to finish. They also have self check out, although I've never tried using it.
