| - I think I came to the restaurant with too high of expectations. Everybody and their mama has nothing but good things to say about this place and I've been more than eager to give it a try. My boyfriend and I finally went for our anniversary dinner. We were so excited to go that we went all out when we ordered. We got the seafood platter as an appetizer, which was HUGE. Definitely too much to share between just 2 people before a steak meal. The platter included shrimp, oysters, and crab legs. All of which were just okay.
For our entrees, I ordered the porterhouse and my boyfriend ordered the bone in ribeye. Each meal comes with either a soup or salad to start, vegetables on the side, and your choice of potatoes (mashed or baked) or rice pilaf as accompaniments. We ordered our steak mid rare, of course, but mine came out more on the medium side. I'm not one to send food back so I settled with what I had.
Honestly, to me, the steaks were kinda dry and not very flavorful. I've definitely had better at other steakhouses. I guess what people love about this place is that, for the price of the steaks, you can't go wrong. They are SIGNIFICANTLY cheaper than most other steakhouses, but I personally tasted that.
Wait staff is great though. All the servers were polite and friendly and had great recommendations.
