Four years ago I purchased a Nikon D7000 with Henry's expanded warranty, which gave me five full years of repairs insurance. I just had a repair made (replacement of the rear panel), which would have otherwise cost $270. This five years extended warranty is simply not available for USA Nikons. That is why purchasing Nikons through Henry's in Toronto with 5-year insurance was a no-brainer for me. By the way, if you think you can get a cheaper price for Nikons or any brand by shopping internet prices, you're right. But I suggest you think twice about buying the cheap price. Keep in mind that if you are in the USA you need to buy a USA Nikon, designated by the first number of the serial number, to get your camera repaired after the first year factory warranty. Ditto for Canadian Nikons after two years. Why does this make any difference? Because Nikons from other countries, say Japan, means you will not be able to get it repaired in North America. Even worse, Nikon will not sell parts for independent shops to make repairs for your overseas origin bargain Nikon. Bottom line: it's a no-brainer to buy a Canadian Nikon from Henry's with the extended warranty.
