I believe what tenants do not understand is that this is a property management and they do not own the houses they rent. If rent goes up, it's because the owners raised the rent. If you didn't get your deposit back its because the owners felt as though their property was damaged. They must come up with receipts for damages or clean up.
I rented a house from this company for 6 years! I was never unhappy with how I was treated by Ideal. In fact, when the owners would not help me with the sprinkler systems that were old and broken, this management company went to bat for me. Every time I called for an issue Aiko would immediately get a repair person to correct the issue. They took care of me and my family. The only reason why we left, was because we outgrew the house. I spent a few months looking for a house within Ideals listings with no success. It goes both ways- we were good tenants as well- we were never late with rent in those 6 years... We received a portion of our deposit back- almost 700 which was fair in my opinion. I would definitely use this Company again. It's surprising to me that there are bad reviews here. Great job Ideal! Sorry we had to leave you.
