I have eaten here probably 50 times and it is usually a weekly go to place. However, lately the quality of the food hasn't been up to par. I am not sure if they are using less quality ingredients, or just not putting in the right effort to prepare properly. Lately there has been a gritty taste to the meat they use on Lahmajuns and Pides. It literally tastes like there is sand in the meat. Worse than that is that they just jacked the prices up. The thin crust Ephesus Pide, for example, used to cost $7.48 with tax, but now it costs $9.62. A 28.6% markup is a bit steep considering inflation was about 2% last year. Now mind you, this place looks like crap, smells like crap, has employees that look like crap and you can only wonder what the kitchen looks like. To top it off, they are consistently slow in preparation. $10 for lunch at a quasi fast food pizza shop that isn't even fast is not a bargain. I am sad to cross this place off my usual spots.
