  • Update 11/22/17- I had no coupons today, nothing on Groupon and couldn't avail of the Yelp deals anymore. So to get the regular treat I give my car, I had to cough up $60 with $3off like I mentioned when I checked in. There was a line today, I guess I wasn't the only one that wanted to drive a shiny car while running errands for Thanksgiving ;-). While I was waiting the manager walked by and gave me a smile, I'm thinking she knows me by now. After the wash portion was done, she opened my door and called me by my first name! Have I mentioned that I like that? Yes, yes I have... Anyways, I said, wow I'm here so often that you now know my name. And she says, oh it's on your receipt. Well that ruins the feeling of being the duchess of this place, j/k. The wait took an hour today, but people were kind and friendly, employees and patrons alike. No one seemed to mind that we were there waiting for our cars to be washed while the stores were getting busier and busier by the minute. When my car was done getting her diamond treatment, I expertly ;-) examined my car and pointed out some spots missed. The manager came up before I got into my car and wished me a happy holiday. Happy Thanksgiving Alamo, kudos to keeping your sanity today. See you in 2 weeks! Update 11/2/17- Arrived a little after 4pm, the manager was cashiering today. I purchased the Yelp $22 and added interior and exterior dressing like usual. She was charging me $20 for it today. I told her I don't remember paying that much before. I said I'd have to look at my records to see how much I've paid in the past and she took $2 off. She did say I paid $10 in the past but the leather seat conditioner would not be included. If you read my last review, this was included. I had my son with me today and my other 2 were getting haircuts so I was in a rush and didn't have time so I just agreed. I did mention the exterior trims were not dressed in the past so she said she'd make sure they were done this time. They have a new brand of air fresheners which does not carry the scent new car so I picked new leather. We shall see how this works out for me. The car was very clean and I'm satisfied with today's service. Good job Alamo! Update 9/19/17- Back to 4 stars Alamo. 1. Very happy with my car wash today. They took extra time washing my car. 2. The cashier knew what he was doing today. I told him to inform the guys that I was not happy with the interior dressing last time I was there. 3. They were out of my favorite new car air freshener. Booo!! Got summer linen and I regret it. My car now smells like fresh laundry. Hehe 4. Josh (the guy doing my car today), applied leather conditioner on my seats! Good, I had planned on buying some on Amazon this month and doing it myself, now I don't have to . Hey, no malice, he was cute . But what's important is.... he did a great job on both interior and exterior dressings. I'm wondering though if the trims are not included? I'll have to ask that the next time I go. I also told him that I always see tire dressing splatters on the side of my car when I get home, he said he'll make sure that doesn't happen. When I got home, no splatter. Kudos Josh. 5. I think the manager being there (I saw her) made a lot of difference. Very bad experience today. I decided it was time to get my car waxed and paid $60 cause I added the interior and exterior dressing. My car Iooked better before they waxed it. I really couldn't tell the difference before I left the lot due to my car having that new car shine still and thought maybe it was their blue shade that was causing some shadows. I've been there long enough due to the cashier making a mistake on my Groupon. She didn't add the hand wax on my receipt so they were trying too give me my keys without waxing my car. I think this is why the wax job is sub par. They rushed the waxing and when I got home and could inspect it more closely, I spent about 30mins fixing the spots they missed. There was wax stuck in the crevices of my car. I felt cheated. My interior is also flawless and was excited to treat it with a dressing. As I was driving home, I noticed missed spots on my steering wheel and my console. I'm very disappointed by the service today, considering how much I paid, how often I come here and the fact that my car looked better with the regular gold car wash. My car doesn't even look like I paid for an exterior dressing except maybe for the tires. Which I must also add, had splattered on the side my car after driving home which I had to also wipe off. I should've done it myself and saved myself $60. Maybe coming right when they open was a mistake. It didn't seem like there was a manager. I had to ask 3 people for my air freshener before I got one! Thumbs down.
