  • It's an overall nice place to sit with the kids and have some desserts. They have patio tables with umbrellas. We live nearby and have came to this establishment quite a few times in the last 6yrs. I tend to enjoy the sorbert options. The sundaes are loaded and well worth the price. I feel like it's best to be shared unless you're into all that sugary goodness! They do have quite an alluring menu of ice flavors. Today, perhaps one of the employees was having an off day or so but she made it a big deal that I was sharing a baby cone with an almost year old. I was actually going to get my own and let my daughter have a taste from mine but a baby cone was offered so I went that route. The particular employee basically watched us out the side windows. Let's be honest, a one year old isn't going to devour that cone alone before it melted away. My three year old couldn't finish it completely. What we ordered was one kid's dirt sundae, a baby cone for our 3 yrs old and almost 1 year old and my husband wanted a small portion and requested a baby cone. Now, let me be clear, we expected to be charged for the baby cone he had received because, he's of course well over 40 inches and thus, makes him ineligible for a baby cone. Our 3 yr old dropped her cone without a single lick and once my husband and daughter went to ask if they could received another one being mindful, we would've paid IF it was requested but the lady mentioned she have been watching us and saw myself eating the baby cone that was ONLY for our one year old. I feel like, assumptions were made that we came solely for the free kiddie cone. I would've ordered a full sundae if I had stomach space for it. So, moral of this story, if you have more than one kiddie who are under the 40" inches and requesting a baby cone, be cautious that you may receive glares if you should dare take a few tastings off that cone. Although not stated, you are expected to make a purchase alongside of ordering the freebie. We enjoy coming here but maybe it will be a second option after frozen yogurt due to the vibes we get.
