  • They aren't able to do an endoscopy which is disappointing for an urgent care hospital. Our dog swallowed a chicken bone and they wanted to do surgery. We ended up finding another veterinarian who was able to take it out with an endoscope which is much safer. They also don't want you around your pet when they exam them. We've lived in a ton of cities with our dog and never had a vet want to examine our dog with us not in the room.
