  • Moved here from the Midwest. I've only had one cavity in my lifetime, so I was shocked when this dentist told me that I had 4. They also told me that I had the beginning stages of gum disease, and wouldn't clean my teeth without a $1,300 "special cleaning." I went to my dentist back home to get a second opinion from someone I knew I could trust. Turns out I have no cavities, and no signs of gum disease! My dentist was furious. Please be careful! There is no need to fix perfectly good teeth.
