We personally lived the location! We frequented the Hard Rock Cafe across the street! We arrived late around 1:30 am to find that our room was given away. We were told by the man who helped us check in that if the room on the reservation wasn't available, that they usually give you an upgrade, but he said just not tonight. We got a room that was cheaper than what we paid for with our reservation, so he compensated us by not charging the resort fee for that night. That was nice, especially since we didn't get to the hotel until 1:30.
Our bags didn't make it on our plane and were delivered to our hotel. We were told by the hotel staff that they would call us once it was delivered, but unfortunately that didn't happen. The bag was delivered at the hotel over 3 hours before I discovered on my own that it had been delivered! We were upset as we had wasted time and money going to buy replacement things when our bag was sitting downstairs with the Bell Desk. We unexpectedly crossed paths with The Park Executive Host, and he asked us about our stay. We explained to him the inconveniences and he was able to give us $100 room credit. Overall the hotel was clean--first night there was a spot of something on the sheet and the air conditioning wasn't functioning at full capacity in our room--but once we got into the room that we paid for, we had a great view, clean room, good temperature. What we loved most about this is that this hotel is convenient yet not crowded! We would probably come back again!
