  • I am only writing this to give my honest opinion about the work that attorney John Gaertner did for my case, so that others do not waste their money. The only good part about his firm is that his paralegal is organized and does most of the work for him. However, John is not a good lawyer and is not even decent in the court room speaking or representing clients. I was pretty shocked because I assumed he would at least appear experienced at some points during my trial. I am not writing this to attack him or his firm, but he charges a lot and I don't want others to waste their money. I spent around 15k and got nowhere with him due to his inability to convince and stay organized in front of the judge. Hopefully by writing this, Mr. Gaertner does not respond or attack me, as I understand that he was disciplined by the State Bar for unprofessional conduct. I had felt that several times during my case that this attorney attacked me as well (in person and over the phone), so I am not at all surprised by this admonition and probation brought upon him.
