  • I have lived here since it was called Peaks at Papago Parks in 2010, and gave this place many chances eve through when Weidner Apartment Hines took over and it was a wrong decision. Everything from regular maintenance checks to the attitude and urgency from the front office were lacking. I would give this apartment complex zeros stars if I could, but it doesn't give me this option. I specifically remember it took RMV 7 times to fix a toilet that wasn't working. Other times, they were simply late or didn't check back at all on other repairs and maintenance orders. However, the last thing that happened was unforgivable; Tyler is the front office manager at RMV Nicole works at the Weidner Aparmtent HQ in Phoenix and used to be the head manager at the physical RMV location. They both scheduled a wall resurfacing at my unit tombs done on a certain date. That date came, and nothing was done. We hadn't moved our stuff out of the bathroom. According to RMV policy, all of the tenants personal Belongings need to be removed before any bathroom resurfacings can be done. You'll find out later on how that among other things aren't enforced at all. So I talked to the incompetent manager, Tyler, who said that I "should have read the fine print" and that since I did not a rescheduling would need to happen, this time with our belongings removed. Fine. I get it. It would be nice on their part for them to briefly mention that to us before the resurfacing as a courtesy but fine whatever. So the day came and they resurfaced one of the bathrooms; instead of tearing down the plastic vinyl and putting an new wall up as should be done, they essentially plastered a new vinyl wall over the old one. But they got it done. Then it was time to do the other bathroom, the mater bedroom; boy did they screw up. So here is where I get to the part where Tyler and RMV standing behind having everything removed or else gets shot to threads. Not only did the resurfaces do the same bathroom twice! But they threw all of my wife's belongings on the floor to clear it. Tyler, if your listening do you really stand behind that policy? So all of that time he argued that he stands behind that policy didn't mean squat. What a joke. I go to the office with this info and Tyler and Nicole both credit me a total of $500. They of course did not even take responsibility and blamed the resurfacing vendor they chose. RMV chose them to do their work, so they need to take responsibility as well and they didn't. A few weeks later, I had to unclog my vents as they were dusty, so I call the front office as usual to schedule a duct cleaning. I later get a call back saying that going forward I would need to send all my maintenance requests via email. What!? On top of everything that happened now you're going to inconvenience me to send an email. What it turned out tinge is that everyone needed to email requests to front office if and only if a third party vendor was fixing their place. This was, once again, explained poorly to me. Oh and by the way, after the duct cleaning that finally happened maintenance left dirt from their dirty shoes in my apartment and carpet. So I had to follow up on that. It ends here. Lastly, I got a call from Richard, the guy in charge of Nicole at the Phoenix RMV HQ, and told me I was going to get a letter from their attorney that ultimately was forcing us out of our lease. So instead of trying to fix their mistakes they force me and my pregnant wife out. What a bunch of disgusting pigs. A reputable apartment would try to fix their errors and find a way to remedy it. Not these guys. Don't move here. They are unprofessional all the way from the top to the bottom front office rep. Worst apartment ever to live in. And it's not even worth it anymore as it's almost the same price as the neighboring apartments. Oh and to add to the spice, they turn your water supply off and claim to have emailed you, but they never do. Autopay commonly gets cancelled and you often go back and have to follow up with them to see if it went through. So if you choose to live here, enjoy the prime location and good luck.
