  • We (I) came here for the giant capers that come with the pate/foie gras, and it was well worth it. I never knew capers grew to such a size, like they cannibalized other, lesser capers to form a new breed of super-caper. Capers aside, the food was good, not great - all well-prepared, but a little too forced at times, as if bonus points were given for the inclusion of as many on-trend ingredients in one dish as possible. The almost militant service, on the other hand, is above reproach. Should you ever feel unappreciated and unnoticed in your life, make your way post-haste to L'Albatros, order yourself something that comes with giant capers, and wait for the bread boys to swarm.
