| - This is my local watering hole, and it's everything I could possibly ask for in an Irish pub! Good food, a well poured pint of Guinness (amidst many other drinks) a great selection of beer, friendly local regulars - most of which are Irish immigrants themselves, and as the Irish say always a good craic.
It doesn't get anymore authentic than that folks!
So it was no surprise that when planning my evening festivities on St. Patrick's day there would be no question on my destination. With a live band playing, pints of Guinness lined up waiting to settle before being topped up and served and more whiskey pumping through the place than was reasonable, there was no question where I'd be spending my night.
While I didn't eat here last night, I have had quite a few menu items including the fish and chips, burgers, an Irish stew and even shepherds pie on special once. Everything tastes authentic and gives you that warm and cozy feeling inside! Total comfort chow.
The last thing I'll say about this place is the people. So many awesome characters who've been drinking here for years. Many of which, as I mentioned before, came straight from Ireland and the Galway was one of their first stops off the plane!
Love this local spot and I'll keep supporting! Slainte!!
