| - It has always been my belief that waffles (alongside bacon) occupy the pinnacle of the breakfast food pyramid. [In fact, I would make the argument (like Ron Swanson) that waffles are acceptable at any time.]
Despite being a person who is chronically noncommittal, I can safely commit to saying that the pumpkin waffle with whipped cream and light nutmeg is the best waffle I've ever had. In this sense, it occupies the summit of the pinnacle of breakfast for me. Not only is it crisp and sweet, but also, there are little burnt pieces of goodness that act as a wonderfully bitter counterpart to the rest of the sweetness. In fact, for a more complete bold flavor experience, might I recommend adding some peanut butter to bring some saltiness to the party? Any way you slice it or top it, it's delicious.
My one minor 'plaint is that the service can be a bit spotty at times. I believe, however, that this is a byproduct of still learning the ropes of food-trucking. I'm pretty confident that once the Crave Truck works out the kinks, I will have no complaints whatsoever and that I will have to buy new pants from all the waffles I inhale.
