So I have been anticipating this visit.. my family is big on buffets and I decided to take my dad and son for breakfast. Let me start with they have a early bird special before 10 am it is $29.99. I got there at 9:45am, my dad was meeting me there. No one in line and they did not let me pay or get sat until everyone was present. I am aware of policy's and have been a hostess. Usually when it is a large party this policy makes sense to me. I was waiting on one other person to arrive... So this did not make sense. We wouldn't have been taking up anymore space since my son is a toddler. So right off the bat I was already not having the "best" experience. Then my dad gets lost because he is not familiar with the parking structure so by the time he got to me it was 10:02am. The tab went from $65 to $85 quickly. Good for them for getting another $20 out of me in a short amount of time. Very unappreciative that this happened but again "policy." We get sat, the decor is modern and beautiful. Surprised the chairs were very comfortable. They have an impressive selection of food and a lot to choose from. A lot of it is already plated. I tried the frittata, chicken and waffles, sausage, clams, mussels, parfaits, and pancakes. A few more items. I pretty much did a sample of everything. To be quite honest I was fairly disappointed... In my personal opinion this is not worth $85. It also is a buffet. When anything sits out for too long it gets dried out and as we say in the restaurant business "dies in the window." I have gone to the Bellagio buffet for brunch and that was well worth the money. I do not think I will be returning.. Maybe dinner is better? I definitely did not eat $40 worth of food but I am thankful my dad did!! He had 5 plates and wasn't crazy about the buffet but that man is an eater so game on.
