Update...I can no longer recommend this place.
I started going here in 2012 and I fell in love with the place. I always felt so welcome and the nail techs were gentle, talented, and detail-oriented. My favorite nail techs were Jackie, Tia, and Mimi.
A few years ago Jackie and Tia disappeared but I still kept coming for Mimi. A couple of times I went and wasn't able to get her so I gave the other techs a try. The other techs had no business doing nails. There was an older gentleman who gave me a pedicure and his idea of cutting my toenails was to use the nippers to snip the corner of the nail AND RIP THEM ALL THE WAY TO THE NAIL BED. You couldn't have drove a nail up my a*shole with a sledgehammer. I was gripping the pedicure chair so hard my knuckles were white. I was squirming like a worm on a fishing hook. He did this on two toenails before I told him I couldn't take it anymore and to please stop. Every time I came in after that if I wound up with him as my nail tech I would wait for another tech.
The nail in the coffin was the last gel manicure I got there. I happened to get a young man who I had never seen in the salon before. I got gel nude nails with a glitter ring finger on each hand and the glitter peeled off an hour after I left the salon. I came back the next day to have it fixed, it peeled off again a few hours later. I had to go back a third time to have it fixed, and that's when I decided I was never going back.
