I'm always looking for a fresh new hair cut. I asked a friend at work, who cut her hair because I'm really into the long layered look. It's sometimes very hard to find someone that will cut long hair into layers, without scalping you. I was referred to a gal named Chicky. Chicky turned out to be a really cute (so gorgeous I had to stare at her) upbeat stylist with a quick wit and knack for haircutting. I only have my hair cut about once every 6 months since it is so long and doesn't require much trimming. She was very responsive to my needs. I explained what I wanted and she asked many questions to determine what she would do. I had her cut quite a bit of length to get the layers I was looking for and she did so cautiously, confirming with me every time she started to cut a new layer. All in all, I was there for 1.5 hours, she blew out my hair and curled it with a big curling iron. I loved it! I loved her! The best part is that she was about half the price of the last haircut I got!
The salon itself is very nice, with the usual "retail shop" in the front. The salon offers just about anything you could ask for in the way of beauty. They have massages, wraps, nails, facials, etc.
