  • I love sams but the one I went to. The only one that is close to me and my husband was HORRIBLE. I felt as if I were at a flee market in the projects. First, my husband called to see if he could get an even exchange on a product he got there. The lady that answered (in customer service which was the department we needed) he said one word and she over talked him without letting him finish and transferred his call without notice and without knowing what we needed help with. So we were on hold with a transfer to I don't know what department for too long. So, my husband hung up and called again. We got the same lady and she did the same thing!!! We were frustrated and just decided to drive up there. Upon walking in there was a speaker playing with rap music and what not like it was a family reunion. When we walked in there were two employees (I guess, they didn't have on any uniform or a sams vest) they were horse playing and the young lady in the front who was giving us a sticker for our returned item ran into me from horse playing. It's like this sams literally just picked random people off the street to work. No training, no uniforms, no DECENT customer service. We finally are in the customer service line and there was an elderly man in front of us and two other women. From what I saw he was having trouble understanding where His refund or exchange was for paper towels. The woman was getting frustrated and had an attitude explaining it to him until he started to understand (I'm guessing the same woman that kept transferring my husband without letting him speak) you are dealing with people, an elderly at that. Have some patience... you're getting paid to do this, not the other way around. When me and my husband were next in line she started expressing her frustration she had with the elderly man with us. When we FINALLY explained to her we wanted to exchange an item, we also renewed our membership at the same time. We picked the same item and she was able to find it on his sams card but we still ended up paying more money for the same item. Confused about this because even at Walmart if they are able to find the purchase on your receipt or even at target when they find it on your card and you do an EVEN exchange for the SAME EXACT item, you're not going to pay more for it.
