| - Ok, it didn't feel like Louisiana at all.
Environment: 3.5/5
The voodoo decor is pretentious, but I'll admit it looks pretty cool.
Food: 0/5
I ordered (or so I thought) a Shrimp Po' boy and a Pulled Pork Po' boy.
In terms of taste, the shrimp was absolutely disgusting: salty, fishy, and chewy. The pulled pork was very sweet, but edible in small quantities. The spicy mayo (usually comes with the Po' boy) was greasy and bland. The cajun fries were brown, dry, and not crispy.
A Po' boy usually comes with lettuce and tomato, but this particular place doesn't do that, it 's literally bread over a pile of meat. But what was most surprising was the fact that both came in a round bread. Err hello? Po' boy is a sub, it's not supposed to be served in a bun.
TL;DR: Food was not only inauthentic, it was barely edible.
Drinks: 2/5
'Primm's #1' definitely did not originate from Louisiana.
