Wanted to write a review because some of the other reviews from people with little kids almost dissuaded us from going. Our 2 yr old loves loves loves fire trucks and he really enjoyed the visit. He loved dressing up as a fireman and driving the little truck in the play area as well as going down the pole, and then climbing up in the big truck and "driving" that. Really great collection of trucks to see, we moved pretty quickly through because of going with a toddler but the admission of $7/adult didn't make us regret not being able to see everything in this visit. I do wish some of the kids area would be updated; the display showing fire dangers in the house with buttons didn't work. A lot of other reviewers mentioned volunteers being rude but the guy at the front desk was so nice to our son, he turned on the desk's flashing lights and helped him pick out a fire truck to buy as a souvenir. About the "no touch": we had a great time with our toddler who generally listens pretty well (and wanted to be on his best behavior cause we talked to him about going all week). It does not have an expansive kid's area, however, so if you're going alone wrangling 2-3 young kids or have a kid who's bent on not listening at all, it might end up being more stressful than fun. It's definitely geared towards adults but if your kid loves fire trucks, don't let other reviews dissuade you from visiting!
