What is going on with this place? If there are any carts in the store, there is always trash in the carts. Need a cart otherwise? Don't worry, because they are all over the neighborhood pretty consistently. As others have said the parking lot is always a madhouse. Why is it a madhouse? Probably, because the company is too busy forcing people to check out their own groceries than to employ friendly and knowledgeable staff. There are rarely enough checkout aisles open. There are never enough baggers, and I've caught nasty looks from some of the cashiers when I have failed to voluntarily bag my own groceries. Over the past several months they keep changing the locations of items in the store, sometimes in ways that do not really make sense. I have also had multiple poor service experiences with employees of this store. This store has also run out of fresh chicken before, and I mean any and all types of chicken that is not frozen in a bag or box -- I'm not sure how that even happens without a natural disaster occurring. Also, I've complained about the service in this store to Kroger directly in the past, and have not received a response. The quality of the produce at this location is sub-par compared to the other local grocery stores, and the size of the produce section is much smaller than all of the competing stores within a couple of miles. I have purchased bags of onions here that had rotten onions in the bag.
