| - This is exactly what I would think a Chinese Herbal shop in a Chinese Cultural Center would be-nothing more nothing less. There's an herbalist in the back who sees patients by taking their pulses on both wrists, looking at the tongue for me it was 10 min total and then telling you what he sees/thinks for $15.00 and then you get a week's worth of herbs totaling appx $80.00 incl the visit-as far as i could tell that's what everyone paid that bought the herbs (that you make into a tea) He did state what was going on with me by doing just those 2 things, and this form of diagnosing has been going on for hundreds of years so, I'm going to take the teas and see. If he helps me then it's a small price to pay! No it's not pristine, no it's not uber friendly customer service, but oh well, I took it with a grain of salt-they are from China, they're Chinese and EVERYTHING in the shop is Chinese, this is not CVS. Maybe they're not totally acclimated in our culture, for me no biggie, for others, maybe a biggie. I didn't care either way, but for the record my experience was that the woman was very sweet to me.
