| - This review is actually regarding the mobile detailing, not the facility. I believe the mobile wash employees come from this site though so that's why I picked this location to review. However, I have never been to this physical location.
I was dumb enough to purchase a black car in this lovely Arizona desert, and am reminded daily of my stupid choice every time I look at my car and see every single tiny flaw, whether its dust or a small scratch. Never again with the black, but that's not the point. I am TERRIBLE with taking my car to the wash, I always push it off. We made a recent trip to San Diego, so my trunk and back seat being filled with sand was a prime opportunity to really get a good scrubbing out of it. I emptied out the entire vehicle, trunk glove box middle console, the whole thing. My interior is black also (yes, bad choice). I also have a lovely 7 year old who has had control of my backseat for the 6 years ive owned the car. We are both pretty much neat freaks, but he is still a kid, and driving while eating is NEVER a good idea.
I booked the 9am appointment for yesterday, and there were two young men that came. The guy I booked the appointment with had said there possibly would be only 1, but I felt better about 2 as it was hot as heck yesterday and I figured they would get done quicker with 2 guys. I actually had them come to my work parking lot, so it didn't take up my weekend time (they do Saturday appointments not Sunday). While they arrived a tad past the 9am appointment, ide say they were down there at least 2.5 hours. I forget what package I bought, but it included the inside carpet cleaning and a wax on the paint. Not sure if that was the top of the line one, but my main concern was getting the seats and floorboards looking flawless again. Which to my surprise they did!
Again, my seats are black cloth, but you can see the spill rings on the seat if a coffee/soda what not spills. I had that in my front driver seat, as well as over all dirtiness on the floorboards. They came out amazing. I am really pleased. I think I was unimpressed with the outside more, but I also don't think its their fault. My car is 6 years old, so it has flaws. And signs of wear that probably cant just be "scrubbed off". I have rims (stock ones but still) and they came out pretty good, seems to have some permanent slight discoloring but it looks SO much better. The little things missed are what annoyed me more than anything, after doing a good look around once I got home. Things like the vents still having dust on them, and the back window not being cleaned on the inside.
Overall I would still recommend them. This was my first time, and yes I would use them again. Not sure how often a super clean like this should be done, but ill try and do it once a year. I would just go in with not so high expectations, as they aren't miracle workers, you wont get a brand new car back if it ain't brand new. Also, if you are a perfectionist like me, it would probably be best to just do it yourself, if you have the appropriate tools (and time/patience).
