| - I'm not a huge fan of food trucks despite the fact that I hit them up whenever they're available to me. Their unique menus reel me in. Cleveland's food trucks in particular tend to follow a pattern: put some kind of meat (usually Korean BBQ) on some kind of carb (usually a flour tortilla), and throw all kinds of toppings on it (usually some kind of slaw, aioli, spicy mayo, and tots). All these things sound good, but the end result almost always disappoints.
Enter OTG. Their menu consists of waffle and naan sandwiches. No Korean BBQ? They already won me over. I love KBBQ, but whatever those other food trucks are serving up is not KBBQ. I got the "Acapulco Pulled", which is adobo-rubbed chicken, black bean and corn salsa, and avocado-lime sauce on a buttery naan. This was really good, and very filling too. So good that I ended up getting a "Strawberry Banana Almondine" also, which is strawberries, banana puree, and almond slices on a waffle. This was not so good. The toppings were straightforward, but the waffle was not very good. It was just soft, mushy, flavorless dough in the shape of a waffle.
Overall I was pretty satisfied and would probably go again. I'd steer clear of the waffles though.
