  • Finally, a Planet Fitness opens up (slightly) closer to me. And, best of all, it didn't disappoint. This is one of the largest Planet Fitness locations I've been to in Ohio. They have for black card members a tanning bed and a relaxation station. It's only $20/month for that and just to work out compared to $10 a month for only fitness. Good deal, especially when you could be spending $70 or more elsewhere. It just opened two days ago. It has staff that admittedly is new to their jobs, so be patient with them. However, they were very nice. People here seemed more laid back than at Stow, where everybody only seemed to care about themselves. They have tons of things the Stow location doesn't have, including an ab station, a gadget on the water fountain that fills up water bottles (and keeps track of how many plastic water bottles have been saved), as well as more weight equipment. It's much larger than Stow. The downside is it's Planet Fitness, so they make their money on people who are casual exercisers instead of the hardcore "lunks" -- people who work out a lot and are douche-y about it -- that many other gyms offer. Therefore, the gym might not be for you if you don't enjoy running. Overall, I'd have to say that I prefer this location over Stow.
