Kung Fu Tea is a nation-wide chain of bubble tea, and I'm pleased that there is a branch here in Madison. They have a huge selection of flavors, but don't let that overwhelm you - you can't really go wrong with ordering whatever sounds good in your gut. I treat bubble tea as a dessert, as it's sweet and palatable and has pleasing tapioca balls that you can chew on. Personally I lean towards taro or almond as flavors, but that's just because I'm a die-hard Asian who grew up on that stuff. The chai, peach, or mango flavors also work great.
A lot of my friends have debated whether Kung Fu or Sencha is better for bubble tea. In my opinion, I prefer Kung Fu because it's closer to the dessert that I want. Sencha's bubble tea is more tea-like - the flavor isn't as strong, and the tea is more noticeable. Thus, whether you go to Kung Fu or Sencha depends on your philosophy of what bubble tea is. And in case you don't have one - come here for bubble tea because it's more fun.
Kung Fu Tea also has a lot of board and card games that you can play with. I always see people playing Connect Four or Uno whenever I visit.
