Only a noteworthy experience would make me write a review for a small, typical neighborhood dry cleaning service. I used to live 2 minutes away and owning only a couple things that require dry cleaning, my appearances here were rare. The service was always good and at a fair price. One day the straps on a dress ripped off and required a little more tailoring skill than what I've got. Not wanting to butcher the dress myself nor go to the overpriced tailor across the street I went with my dry cleaner.
This seems like a family owned business, and usually I would be helped by a nice older man but this time it was an older lady. I talked to her about the rips and she explained what she would do, then negotiated a price with me. She was somewhat timid saying, "How much? Is (x amount) ok?" I was surprised both by the inexpensive price and the concern to not want to charge too much. The straps were sewn back on better than they were before and the dress looked great again. Unfortunately I do not live close by anymore, but if I did I would still be going here for my cleaning and tailoring needs. Nothing but pleasant experiences here!
