Came in here around 9 on a Friday. It was busy but we were able to sit at the bar. I'm just going to go down a quick list here:
1. The bartenders were super nice and ready to answer questions despite the fact it was busy.
2. The bar clientele skewed young--like college kids which is weird because--
3. It's not cheap. You're in $15 for most entrees and beers are another $6 or so.
4. Because it skewed young it was really noisy and people were sloppy with drink spillage and knocking into tables and stuff--amateur hour.
5. The food was surprisingly good. I had shrimp and grits my dining partner had the fish tacos. No complaints at all about the food.
6. The beer was good. I had the Scotch Ale and the Emerald Isle Stout, my dining partner had the non-German Pilsner.
7. Large space with an upstairs. There were darts and pool because people kept asking for darts and balls.
I'm sure I'd go back if I find myself in Madison again.
