  • Carload On The Beach was tasked with the almost impossible feat of filling the void created in the Beach produce trade when the beloved Beach Food Mart relocated north to Kingston Rd. And although it is open to debate whether the colossal sized shoes left behind by Beach Food Mart have been truly filled, does remain to be seen, one can readily see that Carload has done an admirable job at stepping in and distinguishing itself as an appreciated stop in its own right. Occupying the same real estate as its predecessor, Carload replicates the same friendly, casual yet professional service that helped to separate it from the over priced IGA to the immediate east. Carload does have limited space and can feel crowded during peak times, yet their displays are clean and stock is disturbingly fresh. Prices are also more than fair, which can be difficult to achieve when merchants are coerced into paying the astronomical rent prices associated with premium Queen St. E. storefronts. Thank you carload for helping to keep us healthy and not gouging us in the process. Best produce in the Beach hands down!
