This theater is a little far from our house, so when we want to see a movie here we plan it out to have lunch and walk around the mall. I like how the theater is attached to the mall. The parking lot is clean and security is roaming about. Walking up to the theater from the outside is aesthetically pleasing as well. Plenty of benches and trees creating some shade and a little cooler to walk in the Arizona sun.
Inside the theater is cool too. You get to pick your seats so you know exactly where you are sitting. The staff has always been friendly, informative, and usually a bit funny. To see a matinee movie is only $5. The concessions seem slightly more expensive but that is what happens with the movies. You can get a deal here for a large popcorn, 2 large drinks, and 2 candies for $20.
The seats are sofa style, to to a seat and you can lift the armrest in the middle. The seats are electric and recline all the way to basically laying down. Be careful because you can easily fall asleep lol. I like to take my shoes off, kick back and watch the movie. By far the most comfortable theater I have ever been in.
The bathrooms, at least the mens, are small. Of the 2 I have been in there is 1 urinal in one and 3 in the other. 2 stalls in one and 3 in the other. Plan your breaks accordingly or you will be waiting in line.
My wife and I plan on returning to this location and recently bought a Stubs card to get free upgrades on our drinks and popcorn as well as other rewards for money spent at AMC theaters.
Overall we have yet to have an unpleasant situation with this theater.
