  • The Mirage didn't blow me away like the other hotels did. There's not much to see except for Siegfried and Roy's Secret Garden and Dolphin Habitat, and the erupting volcano in the front. I did not check out the Habitat so I can't comment on that. I stayed at one of their other properties, New York New York, so I wouldn't be able to tell you what the rooms are like here. I did use the bathrooms near the check in area and it was immaculate. The volcano eruption was pretty neat. It comes on only at night at 8pm and 9pm. On Friday and Saturday nights, it also comes on at 10pm. The volcano erupts for about 10 minutes. It starts off slow and turns into a full blown eruption at the end. It's awesome how they get the timing of the fire to come together to form the lava. Get there early to get a good view, since it gets crowded and you wouldn't want to wait another hour for the next show.
