After our experience with this hotel, I'll work my hardest to never stay at a Hilton again. We reserved three nights so we could attend my daughter's college graduation. Wife confirmed it three times because the Friday night stay was one half the price of Saturday and Sunday. Fourth time she calls to give them our Hilton Honors number and they say, so sorry, but Friday night is for a reservation in Milwaukee. We were driving into town when we learned we didn't have a place to stay. No apology. No payment for out other hotel. No nothing. They wouldn't even admit they made a mistake. So we stay elsewhere on Friday and get here Saturday. We check in and get a key. The room they assigned us had the beds made but otherwise was not cleaned from the prior guest. As if the person cleaning got interrupted and didn't finish. Again, no apology. No nothing. They moved us to a worse room so I guess no upgrade either.
There are too many choices for hotels in this town to put up with this kind of treatment. We will no be back.
Well, Yelp really worked! After I posted the above review, the manager contacted me and made us whole. Very class act. I'm impressed. I'm very impressed when establishments watch their social media presence. This one worked the way it should and we are satisfied.
