Well I was told I would need a root canal after getting some cavities taken care of with my dentist today. I was referred to her endodontist next door to her practice and decided it may be worth getting a second opinion. I am pretty scared and new to dental work, I've had perfect teeth my whole life up until recently.
I called the office to see what could be done about a consult, and the woman that answered kind of rattled off quotes, said they may need to do their own X-rays even if I wanted to send my records over, she took a deep breath and mumbled or paused a bit, and then awkwardly asked me if I still wanted to make an appointment.
I said, "well no I guess not anymore, but thanks anyways..." and I hung up.
I don't care how good someone is if they can't even staff an office to properly and professionally answer a phone.
Shame for them, I have amazing government insurance. I guess I'll stay with the other endo that my dentist recommended instead.
What a bad taste left in my mouth... and I'm not talking about this infected tooth!!!
