  • Loved the old Gallo, but sadly this place just doesn't live up. Service on a Sunday night was a mess. Stood at the entrance for 5 minutes before anyone acknowledged us, and was told good luck if you can find a table in the bar. No prob, found a table for our party of 6 that some guests were just leaving. We stacked their dirty plates and sat, and sat, and sat. 10 minutes later I started to approach the bar and was told, someone would be over shortly. 10 minutes after that, a we received water and menus and were told a server would be over to take our orders. As promised, someone did eventually come and take our orders. We had been there long enough at this point to know that we were only going to get one shot, so quickly placed all our drink, appetizer, and food orders at once. 40 minutes after arriving half our drink orders arrived. 10 minutes after that, the last 3 drinks and then finally food. Those dirty dishes and glasses that were on our table when we arrived? Were there the entire time. And we weren't alone, but the time we left all the bar area tables were covered with dirty plates and empty glasses- ick. Clearly one server and one bartender were just not enough to keep up with the crowds. Food was OK, but with so many other great Mexican restaurants in town with great food and way better service, will take my biz elsewhere.
