This review is long overdue, but it's here! I went here with my boyfriend and my friend for her birthday. She ordered the tasting menu with her choices of the scallops, sirloin, and I forgot what dessert she got. I ordered the foie gras creme brûlée and beef tartare for an appetizer. I can't forget how amazing the foie gras tasted. I love foie gras and creme brûlée, I would've never imagined how perfect a marriage between them would be. The salted brioche that it came with was soft with a slight crunch. I definitely had to ask for extras. The beef tartare was super refreshing. My boyfriend loved this one and ate most of it haha.
For the main course I ordered the rabbit and my boyfriend had the Kobe Skirt. I ordered the rabbit because I never had it before and I was just like, "okay I'll try it!" The rabbit dish was super interesting because they cooked it in three different ways. Eating the three different textures of the meat was a new experience. I loved the fried one the most because it was crunchy on the outside and soft in the inside. The flavor was amazing and everything was cooked perfectly . I was lucky enough to take a bite of the Kobe skirt steak that my boyfriend ordered, and that was also very delicious!
For dessert I had the banana cake. The presentation was beautiful. They also gave us a small complimentary dessert after which was lavender milk. That was tasty, I loved it.
