My 2nd appointment review:
"A-OK" is what it says when you clicked 3 stars. That is dead on. My experience wasn't awful this second time around but it wasn't as great as the first time either. She trimmed my hair first then deep conditioned it and finished with more cutting. My cut was perfect before the DT treatment. I would still recommend this place for a trim to bounce those curls back up. I don't know about a full style haircut because I still have trust issues from childhood curly hair horror cuts.haha.
Anyway, she should have stopped cutting there (before the DT treatment) and not continued when my hair wasn't completely dry. The DT Treatment was fine but nothing more amazing than what I make at home every Sunday.
Also, be warned, if you are allergic to certain products make sure you read the labels before you go. I knew their DT didn't have gluten but the other DevaCurl products do....I did not know she was going to style my hair with them. I went straight home and washed my hair to get the product out, luckily my gluten allergy didn't flair up.
All in all, I think it is still a great salon. I think this time it was just off you know? But my very first experience, with just a trim? Priceless.
