After hiking/walking this place is the spot to hydrate.
The decor is tavern like. Self-seating but waitress are really quick to notice who just walked in.
Shuffleboard in one room and a HUGE fridge full of beers.
The place is 21 and over due to some license regulations.
They were out of Papago IPA so I'll need to come back, must be good if they ran out.
Tenaya Creek Red Ryder. Crisp red amber ale at 6.2% ABV. I had this beer in 3 gulps I was really thirsty from my hike. The beer didn't have much of a white bead/lace, Color: is a little darker than other Reds must be due to the grain variety. Taste: Medium body, moderate carbonation, fairly sharp feel that softens as it sits out. Crisp, finishes dry with significant mineral and malt character.
Cherry Glider Cider 6.9% ABV. A rose color with plenty of bubbles that can be seen a mile away a thirst quencher indeed. Apple cider supercharged with cherry but not enough to over power it.
If they see your glass of water running low before you know it you have a full glass again. Thanks for the pit stop Papago.
